Our business is small, allowing us to focus on fewer homes, and not being spread too thin. This allows us to build personal relationships with our clients and spend most of our time working “hands-on” at our job-site.

Staley Construction takes pride in being a custom home builder that is focused on our customer’s dreams and desires. We have a reputation for being honest, trustworthy and competent. And we genuinely enjoys the process of building dream homes — especially when our clients are enjoying the process, too.

The owner of Staley Construction, Bill Staley, worked on constructions in his younger years, then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University. After 10 years as an operations manager in manufacturing, Bill returned to his own dream: building custom homes.

Here at Staley Construction, we, strive to build unique, personal homes that are a perfect match for each individual homeowner. By being involved in the process of building the home, from concept to completion, and by paying strict attention to every detail along the way, We are able to build homes that are durable, comfortable and efficient in energy and design.

Meeting building codes is a base point for our work. Our team strives to go well above and beyond code requirements in all areas.
We strive to build houses that are 30 percent more energy-efficient than code requirements and rate above Energy Star standards—without significantly impacting cost in order to do so.

Our owner, Bill Staley, is on the building site every day. He is not only moniatoring the work of our team of subcontractors, but also working alongside them, constructing the home. Being present and an active participant helps ensure the entire team and all the details of building come together to form a quality home.

Bill Staley

Owner & Founder

Bill Staley is the owner and founder of Staley Construction, a custom home-building company based in Danville, Indiana. With a strong commitment to building unique and personal homes, Bill Staley emphasizes close involvement in every project, from concept to completion. He brings a hands-on approach to his work, ensuring that each home is built with durability, comfort, and energy efficiency in mind.

Bill’s background includes a bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University and a decade of experience as an operations manager in manufacturing before he returned to his passion for home building. His company is known for its integrity, quality craftsmanship, and personalized service, which has earned Staley Construction a solid reputation in the central Indiana area.

Kelly Davis

Purchasing Manager

Kelly’s journey into the role of Purchasing Manager/Coordinator with Staley Construction is rooted in her personal experience building her own home in 2020. This hands-on experience ignited her passion to help create functional spaces that align with homeowners’ desires. Her career began in customer service, where she honed her skills in detail orientation and organization, which are now pivotal in her role.

In her current position, Kelly helps throughout the entire home building process from start to finish. She assists in managing initial estimates, planning, and conducting final walkthroughs. She excels in building strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout projects.

Chad Whitecotton

Project Manager

Chad Whitecotton, our skilled Project Manager with four years of experience at Staley Construction. With over 20 years in product manufacturing, he has held pivotal positions in quality control, continuous improvement, and supervision. Chad also holds an Associate in Applied Science in Manufacture and Design. Chad currently resides in Montgomery county and when he’s not leading projects you may find him on a boat, playing guitar or casting a line.
